its not a bad guitar but youre basically paying for the name, and the name adds a lot more to the cost than the guitar does

well if u dont think i should get it what kinds of guitars would be good. I am in search of a guitar that is very warm sounding, more bass, but still a little bright. is that even possible for those combos?lol with also a smaller neck. price range around 500-700

i have an alvarez RD20S and several other members on the boards have alvarez's. theyre incredible guitars for the money. id recommend buying an alvarez thats not that expensive (mine was $200 and it sounds great) and saving up for say...... a Taylor.

I've never played that, but for $599, you can get a d-15 with a hardshell case...your description of what you are looking for also fits a D-15.

No, i don't think that's an option. Is there a particular reason you want a cutaway?

I didnt really care about gettin a cutaway, yea they are nice, but at the time I didnt wanna give more money for one.

But yea, if you do a lot of solo stuff, you might want one.

the reason for wanting a cutaway is because i like to use a lot of alternate bar chords when im playing. for variation. and therefore i use the high Am, Bm, etc. up there which is a lot easier to get at with a cutaway. Plus there are a lot of other neat stuff u can play aroun dwith up there for variation when playing with others. I dunno my other washburn isnt like that so i figured it be nice to get one of each.
