The verse in when the world ends may be simple but i just can't get the strumming right can anybody help me out?

the verse is alot like "Cry Freedom(credit to ranting thespian) ) only with a faster more slappy percussive strumming pattern maybe a small switch with a chord or so. Once you get dave's style you'll understand just about all his music, except the one's he covers which still mirror his style.

I really just kept listening to the D&T bootlegs and came up with my own pattern that may or may not be perfect. I just make sure to accent the bass notes first and then strum the full chords.

Practice and improvisation is they key to a cover song , imagine if Dave played Watchtower the original way , it wouldn't be half as cool
