She and her husband were both shot in South Africa...I don't know why or anything, but they were shot...

Yeah, touchy subject. I saw the DMB driven special on VH1 and all his friends simply said they were murdered. happened during recording of UTTD and dave dedicated the record to her. He never speaks of it, and I admire dave's ability to keep much of his private life private, yet still keep us up on what counts...the music
