hey if you really want an honest opinion from a fellow poet... just let me know ... i dont think it serves much of a purpose to rip the lyrics apart when you're doing it to be sweet to someone... but if youd like a serious critique just let me know... i'llbearound.

the song has a slightly unique mellow edge to it, i think the thing that may save it is the tenor of the vocals. You use a neat energy here when singing, that sets it apart from that standard strum & lyric kind of sound that is typically going on here. I cant really hear the lyrics cuz of the stream...

ok so the point of this was to create a twist on the traditional olympic / rocky theme song... but instead you kind of just took the same song... and really did nothing especially interesting to it. I think that with some ingenuity you could probably turn that song into a neat variation (ala variati...

i think that "battle" has some neat energetic qualities to it. For the most part it it sits in the air and kind of stretches its arms out in whatever direction it sees fit... it's definitely interesting to listen to. I think the hook (basically found in the repetitive rhythm) is nice, but you've def...

eq it out by setting your highs at a lower setting, or lower the highs post recording. but softening the high highs (like 10k+) will reduce that a bit, also playing with elixers helps a LOT with the squeaking...

practice on your technique...

hey i bought a behringer, 6 input for $79.99 and it's been wonderful. no problems, great sound. And really the biggest issues is how you go from the mixer to the digital (or analog) The higher the pre-amp quality, or the higher the connection quality, the better it'll sound and be.

most of those squeeks are in the highend range, if you cut that a bit that at least helps.

i posted bull in a china shop and told ya so, in their infant form. Frank and I went back into the studio and recorded it with the real studio stuff instead of my computer input. And this is the new demo we're using to book shows and also to build a better fan base that knows our sound outside of li...

heye man. i definitely dig what you're doing... but it's not doing much for me. The guitar is kinda dead to me... reminds me of some cheesey christian rock.... with all the timed stops and well... i just think it could be a whole lot stronger. i like it. but it doesnt move me. (not that im saying al...

minus the vocals... i'd love to get the tab for that... that's some great soulful guitar work... very good stuff with guitar. work on the whiny factor with the singing.
