Favorite Dave Era?

So....what is your favorite ERA of dave? Is it the early 90's when he was breaking on the scene. Or the mid 90's with a few hit albums under his belt and rising popluarity. How bout the late 90's with an established touring career and so many great songs written. And lastly, present day Dave, with h...

I hope this never happens.....

So, Dave has been rocking for over a decade now. But there comes a time when the rocking has to end. Do you think that dave can last as long as other bands like the rolling stones, who have been rocking since jesus was a wee lad, or do you think they'll eventually retire? But like I said I hope they...

Here's a thought....

What if Dave started an acting career? Do you think he could pull something like that off? I mean, after listening to him speak on recordings and on story tellers, I think he has a good sense of humor and some of the voices he does are pretty funny. He definately has a stage presence. But do you thi...

I agree with your opinion.....he should grow and experiment more with his work.....but you cant expect us to like everything he puts out after we've been exposed to so many awesome albums. Everyday was a fast album that really lacked creativity. I think they wrote the album in two weeks with that da...

OH COME ON, all ass kissing aside........you know he has to be curious. You dont make it that far by just what YOU think about your songs. He has to wonder what everyone else is thinking. We're the ones that bought the albums and see the shows....he has to wonder about our opinions. 8)

Ever wonder?

Do you guys ever wonder if Dave logs on to this site and reads our praise and arguments about his music? I mean you would think that he would search for sites about him and his band. I know I would if I was a big an icon as he.

I think that if there was a contest like that, Dave would pick one of his easier songs, and I think he would play with the person so just in case the occasional slip up wouldn't be so bad. And I'm sure it wouldnt be a spur of the moment type thing either. There would have to be a few rehearsals with...

Song that Jane likes does rule. I find it easier to get the transition if you play with a recording, and it helps if you have an acoustic recording so all you can hear is dave's part. Hope that helps ya a lil bit.
