Sorry, but drugs DO NOT help anything for anybody. Sure Clapton used to do drugs, but he's been clean for a while, and I think he's been doing the best playing of his life. Mozart was kind of wild, but he was not an alcoholic, and you're right, he did some of his best composing long before he knew a...

I think learning to improvise would be a good idea. That's how Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and all the greats of the classical era wrote their music. Hendrix too. If you want to write music for guitar, research that specifically. Knowing your notes might be a good idea also.

Vic's a good guest, but I don't think he'd gel well with the band. And I just don't know why you'd want to get rid of Leroi.

Loss of hearing for any musician would be tragic, just ask Beethoven, who went deaf at the height of his inspiration. I can't stand it when people play loud at music stores. What are they trying to prove?

All or most of us know guitar well enough to rate Tim, but who here knows banjo enough to rate Bela? Besides, they're different instruments, and different kinds of musicians, both great. There's no need to compare them.

Long fingers are an advantage, but not a necessity. I'm more of a pianist than a guitarist, and people say the same thing about piano. Anyone who plays either instrument would love to have bigger hands, but you can get by without them. Beethoven was only 5'3'', I'm sure he had small hands, but that ...

I don't see how you can vote for Dave. He is the very essence of the band, being that he does probably 90% of the writing, not to downplay the others. Carter and Stefan make a more than adequate rhythm section. Out of the two lead players, I'd definitely say Leroi's far more talented, so that leaves...

Eric cannot play sitar, but I fail to see what that has to do with anything. Personally I like Eric better, but I still love George. Eric is definitely better than George, if that's what you're asking, but who someone likes more is a matter of opinion.
