Take a piece of scotch-tape, make it into a circle (not a ball...) so its sticky all around, put it on one end of a pen or something, then reach in the guitar with it and get the pick with the tape. As long as the pick near the sound holw its easy...shake it ...

Do musicians usually combine scales when writing a solo for a song or do they stick to one?

I'm one of those people that skipped theory and went straight to tabs :?

So I'm getting started with theory again. I have what sounds like a stupid question: can you combine scales when playing lead over a song? FOr example, with Watchtower, A minor and A minor Pentatonic both seem to work just ...

Voice lessons would be the way to go IMO. Practice alone can only get you so far if you don't know what you're dong. I'm thinking about classes myself, but I'm going to have to wait until I hate the motivation/time. Also, it seems a bit of a waste because I only play for fun...I never do gigs or ...

I think you have the same problem I do (you're a few steps ahead though :lol: ). You're on key most of the time it seems, but you just need to work on your voice. It seems a bit nasal sometimes and get annoying occasionally (chorus for example). I cant pin point what it is exactly, but anyway, its ...

Good job, you sounded a bit like Neil actually...you did struggle sometimes with the high notes and it didnt sound quite as good, but then again neither does Neil sometimes :)

I noticed you dont sing as high on the other songs...did you want to sound like Neil, or did you just naturally sing ...
