A lot of people don't care for Cry Freedom, but I think you did a great job...

Guitar is incredibly solid, and your vocals are confident...

The recording quality is good as well. The reverb sounded good. I'de try tweaking your vocal track levels a little to balance it with the guitar a little more...

roast....GREAT job on the cover, i cant find one thing wrong w/ any note in there, great strumming and everything

the only thing i can say to make this great cover greater....maybe just lower the vocals a bit and make them a little softer for the song, then that would be money

Nice choice man, i dont think Cry Freedom gets half the props it deserves. Beautiful song.

You've got a very interesting voice missed some notes though But its a tough song to pull off.

hey great job on that roast beef...the guitar was execellent. like I'mwithfatjack said, there were a couple of rough spots on the vocals, but nothing practice couldnt fix..great job and great choice.

I listened to the cover again with the lower vocal levels...

I think it sounds better than the original...

However, as an alternative to dropping the volume, you could try doing it with your voice...add some emotion just to give the song that Cry Freedom feel...

Hey roast!

Guitar was right on...sounded good and it's a great choice!
You seem to have alot of power in your voice which is really good!

One thing I noticed is that it seems like you're putting alot of strain on your vocal chords. If your throat hurts it means you're doing something wrong.
Try relaxing when you're singing, stand up straight, relax shoulders and imagine your voice is coming from your stomach and try get us much air flowing through as possible..
Take deep breathes but dont expand your rib cage cause that just makes you more tense, imagine the air is filling up your stomach. It sounds lame but it will increase your vocal range and make things alot easier. You'll notice the difference quickly.

I hope that helps man, your voice has ALOT of potential and I hope you run with it.
