My New HD-28 - W/Runout (PICS)

Post by srslots81 »

Here are pics of the top to my new HD-28. I forgot to take pics of the sides and back, but Kanter can vouch for them, they are superb - he helped me pick out the guitar. While there were others with more conventionally grained tops, the sound on this blew them away.

I can vouch for this guitar. It sounds incredible. We spent 4hrs(waaaaay too long) in the guitar store playing different models and every guitar there. This stood out far and beyond every guitar we played in the $2k range. Stunning guitar. Back and sides are incredible and I personally love the way the top reflects 2 different shades on the wood(the runout Saul talks about). He's 50/50 on it...I love it.

Either way, that guitar has found a good home in Saul's hands...he's a fucking incredible guitar player

Excellent choice man, I have an HD-28 as well, and I think it looks really awesome with the runout.

Why do I feel like that's just going to lead to bad news? You have the $$$ to pay it off? If not then don't do it...DEBT SUCKS...I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE

well i have most to pay it off (about 1500) and im looking for a 28 series guitar.. mostly looking at 70's d-28s or a hd-28v. which only leaves me to pay, almost nothing for an excell 70's d-28, or around 500 for the hd-28v to leave on cc for a year with 0% apr... but yeah lets hear some clips of that new guitar slots
