this song is so hard. any advice on learning it? can someone post a slow clip or break it down. i can't fingerpick too well and it sounds like it should be. any help?

would be kinda hard to explain over the board... he doesn't use a pick and he keeps a constant sixteenth note strum pattern with his right hand and then indivdually picks out the notes while strumming... not too easy indeed...

I downloaded it so I could learn how to play it. After seeing it, I realized there is no way in hell I'm playing it unless I devote major time to just that song. Way above my level.

i downloaded it today, and i have to say, i wasn't too impressed with the left hand on that one (the right hand was cool though)... i don't play it in drop-C, so the fingering is a little more difficult

i learned the song yesterday. just give it a little time and it will come.
for the base notes i use my thumb. thats what it said on the tab. just give it a shot. the only real hard part is playing it and singing it at once.
still trying to do that.

still trying to do that.

its not that hard as a single lick, but playing the whole song through and keeping tempo (and not messing up) is kinds tricky...

He did write it, but the fact is, it's very wrong. I don't know if he was drunk when he wrote it, or if he just plays from memory/improv so he couldn't tab it well but... it's quite wrong.
