I know its years mostly. but since i got my guitar 3 months ago ive noticed its gotten much darker. when i first got it, it looked like almost agred spruce. now it looks like aging cedar. well heres some pics...
well it may not be aging, just responding to the environment that is your house. if it was humidified at the store and now now or some other change that would cause a change in wood color, and aging is a good thing, makes your sound crisper and bassier
Anyway, its IMPOSSIBLE to judge because of the lightning.

yeah um lighting sucks for pic two. but i can tell a considerable difference. at the store i dont think the guitar was humidified. but the area was. my house is always between 72-75 degrees. not in sunlight much only when i leave it in the living roomm, cause theres a huge bay window there, but thats usually at night. and i know cedar ages quicker but its been 3 months. thats not too long. anyway keep them commin
