i agree, i got mine used for 300. Its in perfect condition and I like it better than most guitars ive tried under about 1200 dollars.

Well, If you can save up an extra hundred bucks, I highly reccomend this guitar.

I bought mine at the start of the summer and love it. It has the great strat sound with the single coil pickups and you can use it for distortion and such with the Humbucker. Love it. The Highway 1 series are American made, just stripped down, so you don't have as nice a guitar as a standard american strat, but it is a great first electric.

i have a Godin SD, which comes with 2 single coils and a humbucker. I got mine for 300 w/ original hard case. this guitar would still be a deal if it was 600 dollars.
