So I was reading an interview with Fenton today (the lighting guy for DMB).

He was talking about how they got ready for this years tour. They practiced in the studio in Charlottesville for a few weeks then took a break. Then they rented a stadium for about 3 weeks in May and put in long hours every day. The stadium was the Ted Constance Center at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.....20 minutes from my house!!!

To think that the band was working so close to me every day for almost a month and I didn't even know it

it was strictly the band and crew. Nobody else knew they were there. They used it so they could get the lighting down, plus practice in a stadium environment.

Its a nice place...I saw Dave and Time there last year.
