A new song, The Idea Of You, made its debut last night at our first of two shows here in Noblesville, IN. Dave plays on a mandolin-like soprano 12-string, made by Veillette Guitars. Tuned an octive higher than typical guitars, Dave's been digging the rich tones of this instrument and has been rehearsing some of the new tunes with it. We're bound to hear at least a few of the new songs over the coming weeks, so be sure to check it out. See you back here tonight.

I don't think anybody is making it into a classic or anything, but considering the pile of shit songs we have been given this past year, this is song is a huge step in the right direction.

"I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Gonna kick some ass in the USA. Gonna climb a mountain, gonna sew a flag, gonna fly on an eagle. I’m gonna kick some butt, gonna drive a big truck. I’m gonna rule this world. I’m gonna kick some ass. I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Rock, flag, and eagle!"
You know what the best part of this song is? Every band member can be heard and plays an important role. Thats what i disliked about stand up, i thought leroi and boyd were very underused. Great song, can't stop listening to it, thanks to all the uploaders!
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
at first i wasnt crazy about the verses.. but the chorus is awesome. i love that he yells the whole part. and that saxaphone riff near the end is insane! i think by the end of the tour this is gonna be one hell of a song
