What DMB Song Could You Replace Dave On?

Dave is a great, great, great songwriter, but his guitar skills are definitely blown out of proportion. That's what fandom does.

i dont think pat is being cocky.
and tim played at the same time as dave on some albums. they played the same guitar part, together once. then they played it again and laced 4 of the same guitar parts over each other
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

I've been on this site a long time, and there is only one person who could replace dave note for note, mute for mute. DmbfanJason. I kick it with the guy from time to time...he's a machine. It's all he does, literally. He plays EXACTLY like Dave.

DmbfanJason is really good. i remember back when he used to post all of the time and all he ever talked about was playing exactly like dave.

Bottom line is, "Why would I want to?"

I love Dave's songs, and I want to be accurate but I want my own experiences and ability to influence them to a degree ... I don't to be a clone.
