Just wanted to chime in. I don't like the points/karma thing either. Anyone who familiarizes themselves with the board (either through lurking or active posting) should be able to figure out pretty quick who's legit. Plus a lot of people who I initially didn't like ended up being cool in their own way, and I don't want anyone to get discouraged due to shitty ratings as a newb or somethign.

Custom titles for users who reach, I don't know...something more than 1000 posts. Sorry if that's been suggested, I can't remember if I read that or not.

I think you should have to pay yearly for an avatar. nothing crazy, but maybe like $10 a year.

I agree with the customizable titles. but make it a benefit for 5k+ members. :)

PS, we should make AVs clean for 3.0, this whole not being able to read certain threads cause I know someone has posted with their nudie AV is getting annoying.
