My Grandma did grow up in Yonkers, NY, and she would skip school, hop a train to NYC, and go to Frank Sinatra shows. Oh, if only dave shows were that easy.

Next year, whenever there is a concert in Michigan, my group of friends and I decided to go REALLY early to the venue and meet as much of the band as we can. I decided that, since I am a gitarist, I would call for Dave first, and make sure I call him "Mr. Matthews". I thought that he would enjoy the extra respect that would be given if I called him "Mr."
