Well, dave could have had his moments, I mean, everybody in the industry does! And he always seems drunk, i suppose it's the role he puts up in the shows, perhaps to be more uninterested and loose.
But REALLY, heroin??? cocaine???? That's a one way track guys, i really don't know. No one ever really comes back from all that.

Yeah dude, LSD is acid. No idea why some people think its so bad to not know a drug's name.
And its not a "one way track". Read any objective psychology essay/study on the subject. Most of the effects of these drugs (specially withdrawal ones) are hideously exagerated by political influence rather than actual scientific research. I'm not saying they're good for you, I'm just saying they're not as bad as they make them out to be.
