I liked it. Its always cool to hear someone famous cover another arists song. For better or worse.

But I really thought this one was cool. Its such a Jimmy Buffet song.

I haven't heard this yet but even if the vocals do suck it is cool if someone of Jimmy Buffet's magnitude is covering DMB. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery.

i dunno, the parts without vocals were ok, but the vocals didn't match up at all where they were supposed to for at least half of it - wasn't that impressed

ok...about the vocals: no, he doesnt have the best voice so in that respect, they do suck...but with respect to the timing of them and the "melody" or whatever, it doesnt have to be exactly like dave....when hendrix did watchtower, it wasnt the same...and when dave did watchtower, it was different again, yet no one said it sucked because it wasnt the same melody/timing as dylan.

but all things considered, i thought it was cool...obviously not as good as dmb but i still liked it

the difference would be that jimmy buffet is trying to the have same melody and timing and guitar parts as dave. all hendrix did was use the the lyrics from the previous fosong.
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again
