Last summer was rediculous. I've never seen so many go up so fast.

I know, that was crazy. I wouldn't expect the shows to be available any time soon. From what I've heard, the tapers seen have been American. So maybe even sometime after the tour is over we'll be able to hear the taper pulls.

i listened to ants from CP today...you should go back and really listen to it...not necessarily this version (tho it is perfect other than the fact that there is no intro)...but the song itself. its just amazing. wow. i think because its so well known and played so much we forget how great it is. at least i do. to me, its almost like its not even dave...its almost something above that.

and has anyone noticed that the song has changed? the studio version and the LC version for example, are much different than CP.

on the studio version, the first round of "take these chances..." comes with the verse guitar part. but in the CP version (and red rocks too, so its not a time thing), it goes to that other guitar part...im still researching

oh ok...ok the UTTAD version, he does "take these chances first by itself" then comes back to "goes to visit his mommy" but on the R2T version, he doesnt...weird

When they play ants live I like how Carter changes the beat towards the end of the intro to give it that weird feel. And i know what you mean, sometimes I hear a song so much I forget how great it is. I'll hear again after a long time and just be taken back again.

That would be killer, but like some people said in that thread at ants, if they were to put those on a album they would have done so already. Also, not to rain on anybody's parade, but the "older songs that didn't make previous albums" could mean some of the material that didn't make Stand Up. Which could be good, or bad.
