anbd the night 2 people want to buitch about, you could just have easily have quoted 6 other sogns and said, "any set witht hese songs is a good or decent setlist").

i just dont get it, one less than average show based purely on that year (a shgitty show this year is better than a good show last year) and people start blasting the band.

Fuck the casual fan once in a while. Give the diehards something. That would've made the tour for a lot of diehards and they just said fuck it. Why does it always have to be to the benefit of the casual fan? I know it isn't always, but my point should be clear. The diehards are the ones who put the band where they are.

I understand that this tour is far better than last year, and quite good overall. But the band has become a giant cock tease. They give you these juicy little nuggets and right as your faith is about to be restored they revert back to the consistant disappointments they've become since Everyday. Myself like many others fall for it every time because we want to believe that maybe THIS time it'll flesh out. But it never does. That shit gets old.

Throw us a bone, man. Wait. Fuck that. The whole steak every once in a while wouldn't kill 'em. Quit saying you're going to give us steak and swapping it out with McDonald's.

i think you knew very well that thats not what i meant - check's right, everyone keeps bitching about the recent shows and what songs they aren't or are playing - its their fucking decision, they're the band, they're allowed to do what they want when it comes to playing songs - if you don't like it, go cry in the corner about your $100 ticket, you bought it, they're not forcing you to - i bet if a lot of people on these boards had time with the band for one question/statement, it wouldn't be "god dammit why did you play all those shitty songs and not have flecktones guest on last stop?" lets get over all the stupid bickering and enjoy the damn music

It's not about what they are or aren't playing, it's the way they go about it, the way they tease us into thinking something incredible is about to happen and then they don't follow through with that. They've given me the worst case of blue balls the past 6 years.

Case in point:
2000 tour and subsequent release of Everyday.
2004 tour and subsequent release of Stand Up.
2006 tour... we'll see.

But I have an idea how it's going to go.
