yea it does rock. i think it gets pretty good props actually. I don't think i've heard of someone who doesn't like #41. In fact, a few of my friends who don't listen to dmb/ don't like them too much have told me "yea, that 41 number song or whatever is really good"

yeah #41 gets the recognition it deserves from fans for sure. I think it may be one of my favorite songs ever.

not necessarily on all songs, but after hearing about the amazing crowd repsonse to sweet caroline, i was suprised to here it really muted on the live trax release

#41 has been my favorite song since i was in 5th grade. I never get sick of it

That's one of the greatest videos ever, they look like a high school garage band during a talent show or something. It's pretty solid to how they started out.

and how Dave's not playing for the whole second half and Stefan does a nasty job covering for him

Yeah, after listening more, I think you're right. During the songs it's especially loud.
