well the studio albums wouldnt have been the same without tim's influence... i never really realized how much electric guitar work there is on a lot of those songs, i was so used to hearing live versions
well who knows, from what ive heard from dave, allot of the things that know are dave playing on the albums is tim, caust lilleywhite turned dave down and tim up.

he doesn't really want to be famous, he says so in some interviews. He likes to keep in connection with his fans and it's hard when you have thousands of people at a concert instead of his dozens at a restaurant

As far as I understand it Dave Matthews would still be bartending at Millers if Tim hadn't asked him to come up and play during one of his shows (Tim's that is) Dave was writing songs but never played out once until that. So I think Dave wouldn't have made it very far if it weren't for Tim. On the other hand most people who aren't huge Dave fans don't have a clue who Tim is so my vote is for who's Tim Reynolds! I'm not sure if this is all facts so I can be wwwaaay off until I can back it up from a source
