Dude...I think Dave HATES Boyd. Look at that look in his eyes. It's like...embaressment. Especially during Boyd's Watchtower solo, when he has the wah on, there is a fairly close scene with Dave's face, and he does the shifty eyes like "Can anyone see me with this guy? I hope not..." Also, when Boyd bends down toward the end of his solo, My friends and I imagined it would be funny if Dave just bopped ol' Boyd with his strumming hand!

I like Boyd, though. When he doesn't suck.

Uhhhhhhhh.... have you ever HEARD him? He's so inconsistent it's not even funny. The concert I went to this year, he was awesome. The one the night before (I downloaded it), he sucked ass. And when he sucks ass, he sucks it hard.

CP he only missed a few notes, and he was off a few shows at the beginning of the year, get over it, hes not out of tune all the time, and hes one damn good musician

He was off more than a few shows this year, but I'm definitely not one of those people that incessantly proclaims "BOYD SUCKS". I just call it like it is, when he's on, he's on, when he's off, he's off.

I was actually wondering about the looks the Dave was giving Boyd. I mean, there were some intense, in your face looks. I was thinking that it was Dave pushing him...you know...like a "C'mon Boyd...give it to me."...kinda thing.

Thoughts?

P.S. Everyone's comments about Boyd's inconsistencies are correct. However, Boyd was the missing link that made DMB back in the day. He was brought on to help fill out Tripping Billies and look what happened. They created a frickin' new genre.

i think the look is just dave bein dave.. he makes weird faces like its his job. dave never voluntarily jams with anyone on stage like that. boyd always approaches him. and he never jams with stefan, which would be cool.
