busted stuff never really does it for me. whenever i put on busted stuff (cd) i just skip right to grey street. i have to be in the write mood for dreaming tree, and i never used to like pay for what you get but after actually listening to it on yoshi's (5.10.95) i realized how great it was.

Am I tripping or did someone actually say Two Step???

I didnt know there were folks out there who didnt think it was one of DMB's top five. I guess you learn something new every day.

I'm not saying you should like it just cuz everyone else does either, I just... wow, its freakin' Two Step man!

i have to say that "everyday" was kind of a different sound but i thought it was a needed step for dave to take in order to get to "busted stuff" which i think is all good, except for "captain" and "raven." there's something about the sound of captain that just makes my brain tell my hands to hit skip track. and raven kind of has the same effect on me but i don't really like the lyrics to it either. other than that....well, ok, i never liked the album version of too much. don't know why, i love every single live version of the song i've ever heard, especially with timmy.
now i have to talk about all those who spoke badly of two step and proudest monkey. the lyrics alone for both of them, "in my opinion(this is not a flame) are amazing. proudest monkey is dave's story of coming to the u.s. and noticing the differences between himself and others and also what he has become, plus timmies solo i will never be able to play.(damn you tim reynolds!!) two step, i think was put best by Matt2053. "its freakin' two step man!!"
sorry for the long message, i haven't posted in a while. peace.

man, dmfollower, im like the exact opposite on busted stuff. captain is pretty good, and raven is probably my favorite song on the album....
at first i liked YNK like everybody does, but the whole "i think i can.." bit really ruins the song. bartender is overdone, and grey street is really cheesy when you listen to it a lot. as for everyday, i hereby condemn the entire album! really, it wasnt quite that bad, but it didnt sound like Dave Matthews Band at all.
