#41, definately, this is my all time favorite song. my favorite songs change about everyday, this is the only one that never changes its always my favorite.

I agree with him. i'm thinking playing around with an unplugged SST is not very fun....and i wouldn't know if his amp is next to his couch....but i doubt he'll plug it in. well iw ouldn't. too damn lazy.

I have to go with Ants Marching. More than any other song, ants has stood the test of time and has achieved the highest rarety index over all other songs.

#41 and warehouse are both a close second. 41 always sounds good regardless of your mood and is a high point for every show. Whereas Warehouse is more of an unsung hero. Not only has it appeared on all the live albums except LiC (where it was very missed) but it is less heralded because it is not as happy a song. I think it is very poignant, whether played with a direct intro, a passion intro, or a stop-time intro.

Well, it may not be my favorite, but I think to people that only have a peripheral view of Dave's music, and also to him because he always seems to back to it is Crash. So, I guess, in a way that makes it timeless.

Though I think my favorite is WTWE and Gravedigger, just because I like singin them.

Why do any particular songs have to be timeless? I think that every one of Dave's songs is timeless in some way. we all know that he is one of the most original musicians ever. I just love every single song he has ever done. Even covers, like Watchtower, are original to Dave. We all know that when Dave performs Watchtower, every single time it is awesome. So why have favorites or certain timeless songs? Aren't all of them timeless?

P.S. No anger here, just wondering why there has to be favorites? I don't have one particular favorite song of all time; they are all special.

Neither do I, but this song is one that stands out as one consistently played song that always sounds good regardless.

yeah i really like granny too, it was one of the first dave songs i learned, i learned one sweet world first, its kinda hard for a first song, but it worked out
