even if they make you go to some extra effort, id say play them anyway, its worth the workout.

yeah, I used them for more of a workout than anything back a few years ago. I'd play along with Redrocks and play BOWA and Two Step back to back using all bar chords for both songs. My fuckin' god the pain I went through. but I don't bar much at all anymore.

they are useful but then when you get to the point where you care more about the sound you will see how they really are inferior.

so just how the fuck does one play a C# then? w/out any sort of barre chord?

capo 1 and play a C :D

but also 9-11-11-10-x-x (using fingers 1,3,4,2) would do it, or

9-8-6-10-x-x (fingers 3,2,1,4) or also

9-x-11-10-9-x (1,4,3,2)
