He does impressions.

I think john mayer is emensly talented, but i never really am pleased with his behavior. He rarely seems thankful. I have never heard him talk about thankfulness. I guess in an interview he said "I'm the best thing out there."

You can be a talented asshole. But he was banging jessica simpson for a while there and i guess thats a good thing.

Yeah i minimized the page while listening and i was blocking it out and i heard the clapton voice and i thought it was actually him.

Read his CD covers, its not just a list of names he says thanks to. Its people with individual reasons. He likes to manipulate the media though and have fun with it.

Anybody actually been able to play Lover Lay Down exactly as Mayer does? I know it is above my skill level at this point in time but I'm curious how tough it really is.

Say what you will about Mayer's attitude, but this little rendition of LLD is freaking awesome. I love how instead of singing he just plays the lyrical notes on the guitar too. The way he blends it with the original LLD riff amazes me. That isn't to say it is something that has never been done of course.
