My Cliff Bordwell Thread.

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

Today's update:

"The progress of the headstocks...
The 18 degree angle is cut along with the shape.
...
The Imbuia only sanded to 60 grit.
The depth of this Imbuia is amazing in person.
It will be a challenge to bring it out in the final photos."

I believe it's mine.

It's hard to tell. I think that's the core shape without the top wood. Cliff only labeled one of them with someone's name.

I think that one's mine because it's the ball bass shape, looks like mahogany, which we're using for the core of my bass, and the neck joint looks wide enough for a six string.

See the other guys' progress pics at http://www.cbbasses.com -> "The News."

Another update!

Thursday March 8th(early)

Position markers are in the Bloodwood fingerboard of Andrew's bass.
This picture also shows the neck is in the body but without the top at this point.

Cliff told me today that the bass will ship on April 2nd, at the latest. I'll have it when I go home for Easter Break!
