I've been playin' this song over and over again, I like the way I posted, it seems to fit well, 'cause that's what the actual chord is, a capo-ed C/E, except you need that high (capo-ed) G to ring out, I dunno, it seems to work. I might see if I can get it recorded.

i'd have to agree w/ that low e. both of those sound pretty good and a video would be nice cuz i just can't seem to get the verse and the lyrics to work for me at the same time

He's using a different guitar. Its like capoing the 10th fret i think.

I'll try to get a cover of it done this week, it'll be a little tricky, 'cause I've gotta figure out the words and how I'm gonna sing it, and because I won't have the entire band backing me up, so I'll really have to nail some kinda comparable acoustic guitar line to fill it out. I'll do my best.

For those of you who have a guitar in raised b tuning....Could you not capo the third fret and get a similar sound...I have absolutely no musical theory back ground, but I thought this would make sense since in standard tuning, raised b is capoing the seventh fret, so capoing the tenth (on standard tuning) would be the same as capoing the third on a guitar strung for raised b....No???? that make any sense?

Yea, it's the same thing (D tuning). I just tried it and it doesn't sound bad.

You have a raised B guitar? Do you use it for something other than DM songs??

My friend left on a mormon mission to ukraine and since his guitar was just gonna get dusty in his room, he let me "take care" of it for two years. He and I used to jam Dave and Tim stuff all the time. He said to keep it as an extra for raised B stuff.

It's been in raised B since he left. It's nice to have around. I've fooled around trying to write my own stuff on it, but with my little knowledge of music theory, I suck.

i dunno i just tried it w/ my raised b guitar and a capo on the 3rd fret and it sounded off to me but i could be wrong
