I'd be more excited about Rashawn as well. I thought he made Warehouse sound so fucking great this past summer.

Also, i'd take NO guests on the next album over Mark Baston producing it.

well if RR guested on a studio album, it would be a little different than him improvin' on a live song...i think there would be a little more work to it, so the argument that he is just playing random notes is kinda off....and the fact you think he adds nothing live is ridiculous

Re read my post. I said he adds tons of energy to the live show, but as far as any kind of coherent musical composition he adds nothing.

Rashawn is great. The trumpet meshes perfectly with the rest of the band, he better be in the studio with them.

why don't they just do what radiohead is doing and just do the entire thing themselves?
hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you
