have any of you really looked over the setlists from this past summer and so far for the fall/winter? sure the SU songs make up the largest single percentage of songs played, but they play a majority of non-SU songs every single show. variety is what has kept this band around for almost 15 years and is what has allowed them to grow as a band.
if you think the setlists suck, or the music sucks, or the new album blows, fine. stop listening and leave it be, it's not 1994 anymore
I understand what you are saying especially after this last album but I think BTCS is there best album and there have been some great songs like: Bartender, Captain, Fool to Think, So Damn Lucky, Stay or Leave, What you Are and Grey Street.
As far as the setlists are concerned, they need to scrap Everyday and Where are you going. I really don't get why they play it so much. Do they really like it or are they doing it just to amuze the people that go to concerts that aren't as familiar with their songs.
They need to get BOWA, Minarets, Recently, Rhyme and Reason and Drive in Drive out more involved in their setlists.
I agree BUT BOWA, Recently, R&R and DIDO were staples for years before this year. I've got a lot of live shows where those songs are on just about every one.
You are right about Rhyme and Reason. I didn't realize it had been played that much until I looked at dmbalmanac. It seems like I can never catch that song live. But BOWA has definitely not been played enough('04-10, '03-5, '02-0, '01-9)
damn! I could have sworn that they played BOWA a lot more. Oh well, I'm wrong As for catching songs, I can't catch a break either. I think I've heard the same base group of songs in the 10 years I've been going to shows. It's alright though that's what the good people who share are for.

Yeah, it seems like I catch Everday and Where are you going every single time. It's like a nightmare that haunts me and won't go away. I just don't get why they play those songs SOO much.
So I got ANOTHER WAYG last night. Seriously, I understand that they have songs that they have and like to play, but I've heard this at almost every show I've been to. I've heard Everyday a lot, too, but I really like it and don't mind it. Same with Grey Street. But I swear to god if I hear WAYG one more damn time I'm going to flip out and kill peopl. OK, probably not, but I will definitely sit down in my seat.

Nasty good or nasty bad? I thought it was a pretty solid show. Low crowd energy, but the band was into, especially Boyd and Dave (as usual). WAYG, ODH and SU were low points, but Linus & Lucy, OSW, CHristmas Song, etc. were all great.

It seems like they took a really bad setlist then threw in nancies and xmas song and ab intro to pick it up. Im sure it was still a good show but i think the setlist is weak.

I went to both the first shows of this tour and ive heard 90% of all the songs so far. its really pathetic. DMB has got to make a change or they will lose alot of the "old" fans
Oops, i thought you didnt include pig on there, but you have it on there...but that has been on all 3 nights...who wouldve thought they would do that...thats certainly a start
