yup. i didn't wanna spend much more on an electric because i play like 80% acoustic. i like it though. for the price, nothing touched it sound-wise that i found. and plus i can say things about "my gibson" until people like you ask me which one i have.

its worth around $3000. i bought it for $1000. its better than any les paul ive ever played

I've never played one myself, but they get rave reviews everywhere. Samusic calls them the best kept guitar secret in North America or something like that, and I trust their knowledge. If I had $1450 right now, I don't think that the MJ80 would still be sitting on their used guitars page. Even at it's new guitar price, it's supposedly a phenomenal deal. The fact that the guys who run the shop own that guitar says a lot, considering the axes they have moving through the shop. If you've got $1450, you're not going to see a better deal for a while...
