dadarrios have the best sound of all strings... for a few days, dave has his restrung every night before he goes out, sooo... yes his sound is good, but have him play a few weeks on 1 set of those and he'll sound bad.
I think dave could make a guitar with rusted strings sound good, to be honest.
It's more in his fingers then the strings, trust me.
sure but would you want to hear dave play by himself on 4 month old strings. probably not
