What strings to use on a Chet?????

so far out of every kind of strings ive tried i like just about everything equally except: martin SP's suck because of the silk coating on the ball end. Dean Markleys suck because every set i have used has been completely dead within 3 days (no joke) of putting them on my guitar. I dont particularly like Elixirs because they are too slick. I like EXPs when im feeling lazy and dont want to change my strings for a while. otherwise i just buy whatever is cheap and change them out every 2 weeks or so. Usually D'Addario's, theyre pretty standard.
