Well, first of all,

Tripping Billes - a drug party in South Africa, there is a little story about the night, with dave trying to climb a cliff, falling and landing flat on his face, hard, into the sand.

Ants Marching - it really is just Dave's life growing up, really. Also the whole thing when people would slap the men's heads in the music video, dave said people did that all the time when he was young, or something like that

my folks went to church when they were young, and all they preached was all about sins and such. My folks really disliked them, because it was so negative, and after they were able to, they stopped going. My dad is still christian, my mom reads A Course In Miracles (which jesus teaches more peace and love and says things that are in the bible some are relevant today and some arn't and some things that were mis understood), and some of the things Jesus said when he appeared to the woman who wrote it, I think is so much more plausable then the bible which has been interprited too many times over the years and years.

Me and my bro have different beliefs. Me and my bro do share a same belief, and that is in pegen/wiccan philosophies. Me, I believe in buhdist ideas, and I believe in a lot of words that Jesus originaly meant (if a course in miracles is 100% true), like there is no hell and was talking about it coming back to you but pretty much the same as the three folds rule, not a land where you burn and are in pain for eternity (which became that over there years, was supposidly was lost along the way).

So, no, I don't live in a strict religous house, and I don't go to church (which I don't feel comfortable at all to enter any church of today's christianity and catholic churches). I believe in peace and love, mainly, and I think that is what is important.

I've talked to a few buddies that are a bit more christian than I. They hate the song Bartender. I love it...so I just leave it at that when talking to them about DMB.

I think you interpreted that wrong. Save Me is about saving yourself. You can't ask someone to "save" you...you have to save yourself. Someone telling you about the Bible can't help you as much as reading it yourself.
