thoughts on new cd

The dual disc has one side with the regular stereo mix of the cd...the other side of that disc is a 5.1 mix of the cd for DVD players. That side also contains behind the scenes stuff I think.

I don't need it that fancy. I hate CDs that have video shit on them when you put them in the computer. I just wanna hear the damn music.

Seriously though, anyone have any ideas what the insert means by "Pyrotechnics" for LeRoi on American Baby? (see last post)

I can't focus without this knowledge.

I can't focus without this knowledge.

I think it's just a metaphor for his sax playing. Batson reffers to LeRoi as the "spark" or the "fireworks" of the band in one of the album site's movies. That's just a guess.

Ok, that's cool if its about his playing style. I thought there was some REALLY awesome instrument I had missed involving fire. I was about to give up guitar altogether.

i bought the dual disc.

del - its nice cause the video's are on the other side, so if you put in the CD side, it wont play some stupid movie like Busted Stuff will.

but mine isnt black with the cool lookin lines

upon further listens this is becoming one of my favorite albums. wow.

Same here man, really. It's not one of those things where you listen to a CD over and over again to force yourself to like it, it's just that this album has a very contagious good vibe. I've found that they work soooo well as an ensamble band and all bring something really good to the table.
