Recruiting for the team

its really hard to do, recruit that is, i did it to my ex-girlfriend and nows its kind of annoying to hear her do it all the time cause she only knows CD stuff, nothing else bout history or anything

currently trying on the new gf - shes a lot better anyway

I'm working on this girl i work with. When I met her, all she listened to was Rap. Now I've got her listening to Matt Nathanson, Jason Mraz, Howie Day, Damien Rice and tomorrow I'll give her a Dave and Tim show and see what she says. Everything I've given her has been live recordings and she loves it. I may invite her along to the Howie show in two weeks too. Nice.

my dad converted me...he played crash in the car and we were listening to too much, and i was like "dad what are we listening to? burn this for me." hahaha too much got me hooked....'the one that goes eat too much,,,drink too much.."

I wish I was going to see Howie Day. I love introducing people to music that they end up liking. It makes me feel important and special...

I get sick of introducing people to Howie Day (though he is my second favorite artist), I'm tired of explaining what the hell he's doing on stage with his looping and effects....so I just bring them over and show them with my gear...but still. Dave Matthews is easier, "Hey, this is DMB they are great have a listen..." instead of "Hey this is Howie Day, but to really appreciate the music this is what he's doing, and how, and why, and blah blah blah...." Damnit!
