At the very end of the song, at the 5:52 - 5:54 mark, an exclamation can be
heard in the background. It's quite clear if the volume is turned up after
the last note.

or:

This is most likely the voice of Carter, but others believe it to be Stefan.
and we don't know if it is carter or stefan unless dave personally told you.

I think it sounds more like alanis morissette. She also sings on Spoon so that could be it. Who ever it is, they should get her again, she sounds great on the album!
