6 months is waaaay too long, even for elixirs.

I've got a set of elixirs on my beater that have been on since may.

sounds like poopy

lol that was back when i first started and thought the only reason you had to change strings was when they broke....

still, no black fingers

you guys are crazy, I change D'addario EJ16's and Ernie Ball Power Slinky's once a weak on my acoustics and electrics...

I couldn't even afford that. I really need to change my strings on my seagull, I've had EJ16s on for about a month and 1/2.

I've had a pack of Polywebs and EXP just laying around for a couple of weeks. I'm just too lazy to change em.

If you change them weekly at a fortunate $4 a pack, that is more than $200/yr. I change my strings monthly at the EARLIEST. Usually is 2 months.

I change my strings WAAAAAAYYYYY to infrequently. I have four of the six original strings on my Tak. I got it in middle July. That is a long time. And they're those crappy D'addario EXP's too.

I let mine live for 2 weeks , even though once or twice i've left my strings on for about a month because i was lazy
