if these are actually your songs then im sorry, but you need to check on some of the lyrics because they are blatantly dave lines. case in point:
"Oh I will drink you now"= JTR ("Oh I drink you up"), Crush ("Let me drink you please"

"Raining Down on me" = JTR ("Rain down on me)


"I want to dance around the world with you" = Crush ("Just knowing that the world is round, here I'm dancing on the ground"), I'll Back You Up ("would like to dance around the world with me")

"Celebrate until the.."= Two Step ("Celebrate we will")

your other songs don't seem like they're ripoffs, but judging by your other post about the setlist (how every song was a play on words that had to do with dmb) im not so sure anymore. and i played your tabs and it might just be me but they sound horrible. just my thoughts.

You say you played to 1000 people....prove how good you are and that these songs are not rip offs. Post some on here. If you've played to 1000 people, you sure as hell have a recording somewhere. Chill man...just relax here....honestly, this guy putting up stupid threads like this shouldn't affect you in any way. Just pretend they aren't here and life will go on in it's normal peachy way......it's not even worth it to try and put effort into replying to him becuase it's obvious what he's doing...anyway....have a good one...peace

dmb, let me say that I, along with Taddie assume that you are doing nothing more than joking around. if i'm wrong, sorry, but that's the way your stuff comes off. why? for starters, there's the blatant plagarism of dave's lyrics in the first song especially. and while xoosh is right that good influence is a healthy thing, there is an important line between having an influence and taking someone's music, a line which you manage to obliterate. secondly, there are the song title plagarisms. if you use someone else's idea, you have to credit that person or group. it's as simple as that. thirdly, the lyrics are, for the most part, incoherent. there is a difference between obtuse and incoherent. ts elliot is obtuse, this is incoherent, unless it's plagarism. just read any line of color and you'll see what i mean. what's with the kitty thing? you've got that cat in color, and then something about getting lost in someone's shoe in another song. and not only do the tabs not only sound bad, but they're horrible ways of playing what you've written. with almost every single one, i found a far more efficient way of playing what you had written in about a nano-second, which would suggest that you're just making little dashes in a word processor and throwing in a number here and there. and then for one of the tabs, there are only five lines. do you play some sort of five string guitar?? i wouldn't be as harsh if i were not completely convinced that this is nothing more than a joke. if it's serious, sing and play one of these and post it, and you will have my most sincere apologies.
