i have 15 matty boom points, and frankly, i dont give a shit
haha i think thats what it is, i strum the shit out of em, and i just get into it, and it is right by the saddle, but yeah, i'll try some orange dunlops
If you are playing the fender picks then I can understand. I used to break at least one a day with those and then I went to the Dunlop Tortex (oarnge) and I havent broken one since.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
I use the .60's as well as some others here do. They are amazing, that's aparently why dave uses them. I've broken a few out of pure anger during songs cause i'm a loser and get pissed at the littlest things.. :-p

loosen up on the strumming wrist a little bit...one concept a lot of newer guitarists forget, is that you really have to be relaxed in both hands to show improvement and quick advancement...the faster you can learn to relax your movements (strumming and fretting) the quicker you'll be able to gain dexterity and make the motions more natural and routine.
i've been breaking a lot of strings(d'addario meds) lately, but the weird thing is that they are breaking from the bridge. so there is the bridge pin, a little sting, and then a medium lenght section(probably about half the bridge) where there isn't any coating, just the thin silver inside. i broke it playing grey street(the upstroke on the 5xx600) part, i was using a .60 pick, and the strumming wasn't that overly hard. the reason this concerns me was this is the second time in three days i've broken a string. today was a G, but two days ago was a D. my guitar is not that bad(it is a 400/500 dollar fender dg22 acoustic, so it's not a complete beginner). my main concern is why all my strings are breaking at the bridge. i tried to make this as specific as possible, so sorry for the abundance of detail.

...i guess that's what i'll just have to do.
