Ive always said, Id rather be in the lawn than have pavilion seats that are way in the back. If Im sitting pavilion I want to be up fairly close. Ive actually had pavilion seats a few times that were towards the back and I just sat in the lawn with the rest of my friends.

I guess it depends on the venue. The sound under a pavilion is more likely to be A LOT better than on the lawn. I can't stand going to amphitheater shows unless I'm under the pavilion now.

True. I saw DMB at Blossom a few years ago and couldn't hear shit on the lawn.

Id just rather be with all my friends getting drunk and having a blast in the lawn then sitting with like 1 other person confined to a seat unless Im up close enough to really appreciate what Im seeing.
