its a good song, but like others have said, the rain/thunder have a minimal effect on the audio of this track...I'd much rather listen to the Listener Supported version
the first time i heard this story...then listened to the song, i got the most insane chills i've ever gotten from a song.
it really sounds like thunder hits right as carter and the band come in strong after dave's intro.

Absolutely.
When I was at school, someone that was there described it to me. Then when I heard the audience recording, I got the bumps. You can really hear it in the audience recording.
