So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

But people on eBay enjoy starting up bidding wars early,
I hate that.

obviously the purpose of starting it low but w/ a reserve is to get more people interested in it. they do that with real auctions too.

The reason I set a reserve is for the exact reasons that AlpineValley and iha stated. You are more likely to get bids. At least in my experience you are.

The reserve isn't meant to be some big secret. In fact, anyone who's e-mailed me asking I've gladly told. I set it at $4500.00 which I think is a reasonable price.

I bought mine on Ebay back in October. I paid $4750, plus $100 shipping. It's mint and came with some pics and one autographed pic of Dave and the guitar.

My seller had a "Buy It Now" option for $4750...bidding started at $3500. I didn't hesitate to call the seller first thing and offer him $4750.

I hope you get $5500 for it!

Sold. $4,861.00 That is the highest price I have seen for a DM3MD in a long time.
