I believe ants lets you trade them, so I don't see why downloading it would be any different. No profit is made from them so I say go ahead.

Actually, whether an disc is sold is not has no bearing on whether it's legal to trade it. I still have yet to hear back from DMB legal about whether they will allow the trading of these particular discs (been waiting about 2 weeks). I've asked the Ants trading guys before and they have absolutely nothing from the band saying that it's allowed, they've simply said, "Well, they weren't sold, so it's legal", which is not at all how the law works.

I'm assuming it's illegal. It's part of a presale to encourage people to buy the CD, you don't own the copyrights to multiple copies of the CD, so you can't share it.

yeah, it makes sense. and especially since they have put studio tracks on there.
