Number 41 Acoustic

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

#41 on Crash is not acoustic. But it's basically the same tab. We're both right.

I just listened really quickly to the beginning, and the only acoustic part seems to be something along these lines:

Code: Select all

|------4-----4--------4---------4---|
|--5--------------7-----------------|

everyone put this guy down but he had a logical question. it is important to know what part is acoustic and what is electric.

I love how every thread ends, begins and consists of over-bearing sarcasim. And always goes on for alteast a page or so of idiotic bickering and argueing.
You have to admit that the whole btcs thing "was" funny.

Yeah I think that I was just thinking it was on BTCS because it's electric.

I don't know. Next time I see him, I'll ask him.

Possibly, although there's no way to tell based on sound alone. I'm just saying what I heard was all electric, minus the riff I posted.

No reason to be a sarcastic prick about it :P

I'm pretty sure it's acoustic on the album. Did Dave even play electric before Everyday?

No, he didnt play electric until he was given one for everyday. I remember an old interview where Dave talked about never playing one until recording for everyday. With this said the electric on crash is Tim. Dave played it acoustic but is turned down too low to hear and Tim is turned way up. This is one reason that Steve Lillywhite and Dave had conflicts with each other.

The electric (I always knew) is timmy. What were the other problems??

Dude, they ran acoustic guitars through electric amps for the album. Dave is really muffled out by the electric sound of Tim's guitar.
