Me and all my friends from HS were obsessed with him before he ever came out with a cd. Someone got a hold of a live bootleg from a college he played at and we were all in love. We went to see him in a club in Pittsburgh for like $10 that held like 100 people. We didnt even know what he looked like when we got there, he comes on the stage which is like 1.5 feet tall and the crowd is no more than like 12 people back from it, we coulda reached out and shook his hand. Anyways, he comes out and were all like, oh, thats what he looks like. Then he started singing and making those faces and we were all just giving blank stares to one another, it was hilarious.onid41 wrote:John mayer makes the ugliest faces while singing/playing

so much,,, he was going to play the new one, was getting out the paper with the words, then said (as everyone was chanting 41)onid41 wrote:I wonder why he didn't play warehouse...
was everyone requesting #41?
oh hell, ill do this one first, it rocked.
so the new one got bumped to the encore and the ware house was no more. still ive heard warehouse 1000 times, ive never been at the first time a whole new song was played.
funny enough it did seem like stand up (or sit down comedy) with songs in between,. but i think we were all happy for it. ive never seen or heard him more talktive,
was telling stories about when he lived in england, drugs, a tap dancer , bush men,.... christ everything. ,,, whilst it dosent seem like a hugely long set list it seemed to last ages.
ps,
i loved old dirt hill. without the shitty boyd plucking (which he through in a bit)
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"
