Anybody every been to Joe Louis in Detroit (for a DMB show)?
I'm gonna bypass U of I. I had a shitty time the last time they played their. The arena is dry (it's a college
) and students narc on you for smoking (anything). They have chaperones! I haven't felt that nervous about smokin pot since I was 16!
Anyway, Detroit is an hour flight from Chicago, and like $100 round trip.
So? Thoughts on Detroit? (I can't get out to Toronto, I have school at 5:30am on Mondays, so a Saturday show is the only way to go.)

Yeah I feel the same way. If this were a couple years back I would have easily skipped class but this year is a whole different story. And honestly right now I would be going more to see Soulive open then the band itself. I saw them 3 times this year too so its not a big deal.jellyfish wrote:Im not even attempting this year.
