play it like an F chord. Bar your pointer finger across the 1st fret, then your pinkie and ring on the 3rd frets of the a and d strings and then the middle finger on the 2nd fret of the g sting.

that's how I do it. I guess it's the best way since one's familiar with the fingering and don't have to learn some crazy new chord
